Kyle
Duckworth.

       I am a Missouri State University student currently getting my Master's in Information Technology. I received my Bachelor's in Information Technology Infrastructure, as well as my Associate's in Business and Arts from Ozark Technical College. I plan on going after my PMP and Network+ certs and some others!

       I currently work within the IT department in CyberSecurity, doing account Provisioning. I help create, manage, and maintain user accounts and access rights to specific systems or resources within the CoxHealth System. This process involves steps such as user authentication and authorization to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to certain areas of the system or network.

​

        I have also gained experience with technical projects such as creating and managing networks with Cisco hardware. I have also gained significant experience in the field of machine learning and automation. One of the projects that I worked on while in school was using machine learning and PLCs to scan and sort brake shoes, which helped to automate and lower high-turnover positions in the manufacturing process. This project was so successful that it turned into an internship opportunity for me.

 

       I also have experience in website development, using Wix and WordPress to deploy websites for personal businesses and create a website for the Green County Family Justice Center. This experience has taught me how to design and build visually pleasing and user-friendly websites effectively.

 

       Furthermore, I have experience with 3D printing and design software. This experience has led me to start a side business while in college, where I have been able to create and sell custom 3D-printed products.

       In my spare time, I have also set up a home lab to practice with different types of hardware and software through a virtualized server running VMware. This has given me a good understanding of how to set up and maintain a home lab properly and has allowed me to experiment with various technologies and software, as well as the building and maintenance of computers and other systems.

​

       Lastly, I have some experience programming in Python and SQL. Although my degree was not focused on programming, I have gained a good understanding of these languages through self-study and hands-on experience. I am comfortable reading and understanding code, although I would need some time to feel confident doing it full-time again fully. Overall, my technical skills and experience have been developed and refined through hands-on projects and self-study. I am excited to continue learning and expanding my knowledge in the field.
